240g APF
1t yeast
1 1/2 T sugar
1/2 t salt
2c milk
1t vanilla
1t almond extract
6T butter, melted
2 large eggs, separated
1 1/2 c cooked quinoa
It's a recipe that you start the night before, and is quite easy to put together in the morning as you only need to add the eggs and quinoa. Mollie doesn't whip the egg whites, although Daniel does. Folding in whipped egg whites certainly adds to the airiness of the waffle, but can be skipped if you are pressed for time. I added chocolate chips for the kids' waffles.
